foen is a free video phone that runs in a web page. It is provided by sun-dive, the operator, as it is and as it becomes available. It carries advertising on the idle screen. There is no account, no subscription and no charge to use it.
Your number is created on your device from twelve recovery words. You are responsible for keeping the words safe. The operator does not hold them, cannot recover them, and cannot restore a number for you. Anyone who has your words has your number.
The relay may quietly limit or stop delivering calls from a device or address that behaves in these ways. Because the service keeps no logs, this is done on behaviour at the time, not on history.
foen is offered without warranty of any kind. It may be unavailable, slow, or changed at any time. It is not a replacement for an emergency telephone: it cannot call emergency services. To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any loss arising from use of the service or from the inability to use it.
What you say and show on a call is yours. The operator claims no rights in it and does not record it. If you list yourself in the phone book, you are publishing your name and number to anyone who reads the book, and you can remove the listing at any time by letting it expire or by listing again with a different name.

These terms may change. The date at the top is the date of the version in force. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting the changed terms.
